SORTLOGIC SYSTEMS FORGES NEW TECHNOLOGY ALLIANCE TO HELP FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS EASE MIGRATION TO ELECTRONIC BANKING

Strategic Agreement with Sumx to Help Banks Implement Internet Banking to Improve Profitability, Flexibility and Customer Service

PLANO, TX, May 19, 2004 – SortLogic SYSTEMS, a division of Omni-Soft, Inc., today announced that it is teaming with Sumx Inc., a leading provider of Internet banking solutions, to significantly expand its already robust suite of electronic banking tools.

SortLogic SYSTEMS’ business partners now will be able to access flexible onsite Internet banking through the SumxNet Internet banking platform, which SortLogic SYSTEMS will market as SortLogic Internet Banking. The new alliance enriches SortLogic SYSTEMS’ overall portfolio of products, technologies and services to help software developers and hardware manufacturers improve electronic banking systems performance and gain competitive advantage in heterogeneous IT environments.

“SortLogic SYSTEMS is constantly expanding the components, technologies and services we offer our business partners to help them improve their performance and speed time-to-market,” said Omni-Soft President Clint Shank. “This alliance will help financial institutions develop the Internet banking platform they need to drive competitive success, provide exceptional service, and extend their electronic banking initiatives.”

“The SortLogic SYSTEMS and Sumx alliance will help financial institutions accelerate the deployment of mission-critical Internet banking solutions,” said Bazile Lanneau, Jr., president and CEO of Sumx. “The agreement further enhances SortLogic SYSTEMS’ ability to help business partners power the electronic banking enterprise, minimize costs and decrease roll-out time, through the integration of SumxNet with SortLogic tools.”

The SortLogic SYSTEMS and Sumx alliance gives financial institutions access to the critical information and payment processing capabilities necessary to drive competitive success in the emerging electronic banking environment. Based on proven information delivery and management principles, the robust SumxNet platform combines highly interactive features for both retail customers and corporate accounts to help banks increase productivity, flexibility and customer service. Sumx takes full advantage of the flexibility and scalability its SumxNet platform to deliver a wide range of Internet banking capabilities, including: account summary and history, bill payment, check image access, transaction processing and tracking, stop payments, change of address requests, online calculators, interest rate information, funds transfer, online libraries, check categorization, multi-lingual capabilities, and small business services, such as ACH.

SumxNet eliminates financial institutions’ dependence on service bureaus by enabling them to incorporate customer information directly into their inhouse Internet banking systems – allowing them to package and price Internet banking services as they choose.

SortLogic SYSTEMS will preview its Internet banking solution at BAI TransPay.
